We are pleased to inform you that as of October 31, ABS is an official partner of the student’s association in geology and geological engineering programs at Laval university (AEGGGUL).

Through this partnership, AEGGUL will now be able to count on the financial support of ABS to promote its training program and support its activities in the field of geology. Among other things, ABS’s contribution will be used to finance certain student projects such as academic, social and educational activities, integration, sports activities, geological trips and so on.

The University’s Department of Geology and Geological Engineering is dedicated to training engineers and scientists. It represents one of the largest pools of future engineering professionals in Quebec. By enabling students to take part in a variety of events, ABS’s funding will help them to meet and build relationships to make their academic experiences even more enriching.

For ABS President Daniel Mercier Eng. this partnership represents a concrete gesture of the contribution of private enterprise to the development of knowledge in our industry. Through such gestures, we hope to create promising synergy for the future.
