We are pleased to announce appointment of Isabelle Lord Eng, M.Sc.A. to the position of Director – Strategic Development – Laboratory

Ms. Lord joins the ranks of Laboratory service and complete its management along with Ms. Marie-Hélène Lalande-Héroux (Director – Operations) and Mr. Dominic Ste-Marie (Director – Customer Development).

Ms. Lord’s appointment is in line with the strategic plan for laboratory service. In this role, she will be responsible for the development and strategic vision of the service. She will also act as team manager for the Saint-Rémi laboratory.

She has over 23 years’ experience in materials engineering, more specifically in the cement concrete industry, a field in which she has extensive expertise in cement, concrete and admixtures. She has held a number of positions in these sectors, including Quality and Career Manager at cement plants, Regional Manager for ready-mix concrete, Manager for cement technical services and, more recently, Admixture Sales Manager for Eastern Canada.

Ms Lord obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1998, followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Science, also from the Université de Sherbrooke, in 2000. She has been a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec since 2002.
