The GM Posco project in collaboration with Ultium CAM is an ambitious project aimed at establishing a plant for the production of active materials for cathodes, which will supply the battery supply chain for electric vehicles in North America. This initiative involves the creation of 3 main materials production plants, in addition to multiple auxiliary structures closely related to these production facilities. This project is of considerable scope and positions the Bécancour region as the new battery valley in North America.
