ABS continues to maintain a strong presence on the North Shore of the province. The latest project involves the expansion of Hydro-Québec’s Chamouchouane substation, scheduled to run from July 2022 to July 2024. The work is estimated to cost $30 million.
For the past 5 years, ABS has enjoyed a productive collaboration with EGL Construction, with whom we have completed projects at La Romaine, as well as at the Saint-Polycarpe and Appalaches substations.
It should be noted that our expertise in concrete has been instrumental in overseeing the mass concrete pours for transformers to control the temperature within the concrete and the types of formwork and protection to be used.
We would like to express our gratitude to this client for their trust and loyalty to ABS. We wish the best of success to the entire team responsible for the project’s execution, and a big congratulations to François Vachon, who has been working with EGL Construction for all this time.
