Construction of the Humaniti complex (39 floors), which occupies the entire area bounded by Viger, Bleury, de la Gauchetière, and Hermine streets, thus completing the Quartier internaitonal de Montréal. To optimize space in the complex, reinforced concrete columns were erected using high-performance 80 MPa concrete. This was the first time this type of concrete had been used in a building complex in Montreal.
